In just over a week, Fred will be joining the Poway Symphony Orchestra for a performance of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No.2. In an article published on Patch.com, Bo Matthys, President of the PSO says that “The piece has been described as ‘an unassailably epic work of genius’ and is one of the greatest works in the piano repertoire.”
Commenting on having Fred join the PSO for the performance, in an article published by the San Diego Union Tribune, John LoPiccolo, PSO Music Director and Conductor states “It is the first time that the Poway Symphony Orchestra features a soloist of this caliber … We are excited to perform this wonderful concerto with someone as unique as Frederick Moyer.”
