Frederick Moyer is stunning audiences with his performances of note-for-note transcriptions of the greatest performances of piano giants such as Oscar Peterson, Erroll Garner, Bill Evans and Vince Guaraldi.

Fred transcribes every note of these improvised performances, and then approaches the resulting scores as he would any classical composition; not changing the notes and staying true to the style, but interpreting the music in his own way. “The Great Jazz Pianists” is an entertaining and swinging celebration of the best in jazz and an educational survey of “America’s classical music.” Performed with bass and drums.
